Hi friends! Just wanted to give you a quick update on our progress. Recording, The Radiant Life, is nearing completion as we ramp up for our tour promoting its release. Mr. Bradford and I will be heading out from June 20 to July 20 and we will be covering a lot of ground. Check out the shows tab on our website to see where we’re going. I think we’re hitting 14 states in 31 days! Yeehaw! I’m going to do my best to keep you all posted with pictures and blogs so be on the lookout. Wish us luck with the final stages of recording, and thanks for reading. Peace.

We played our first show in Colorado last night at the Larimer Lounge with Long Live the Liars, Forget Me Not, The Canvas Waiting and Calibrate. We meet a lot of great people and heard some good music. Peter Washington from www.concertedeffort.com wrote a great article about the night, be sure to check it out.
www.sleepingisgivingin.com wrote about our time in Chicago, we had a blast and can’t wait to go back.
We were recently selected by www.newbandday.com as “Band of the Day,” check out the link to read the article.
Tomorrow we are getting set to release our debut EP, The Up State. We are very excited to share what we’ve been working on and we’ll be celebrating at the Bank tomorrow night in Dubuque, IA. We’ll be joined throughout the night by a number of special guests including Kurt Drossler on drums and Raleigh Moon on bass, plus a special stage design inspired by The Up State. Our good friends Daylight Savings Account will be starting off the night around 9:00pm and Statue of Liberty will take the stage around 10:30pm.
Our next show will be on April 4th at the Vaudeville Mews with Orion Walsh, Amy Schmidt and Ragged and Ramblin. It’s going to be a great collection of music that night and the Mews is always a great place to enjoy a show, we are looking forward to it and hope you get a chance to stop out that night. We will have a number of original paintings on display that night as well as some original jewelry available by donation. There is a $5.00 cover for all four bands and the doors open at 9:00pm with the show starting at 9:30.
On March 19th we’ll be playing at Monk’s Kaffee Pub in Dubuque, IA from 9:00pm-12:00am. Monk’s has a great atmosphere, it’s very intimate and we always enjoy performing there. On Saturday at Monk’s we’ll also have a collection of artwork we’ve been working on for our EP cover available to purchase and we hope you get the chance to stop down and check out our original music and art on Saturday March 19th at Monk’s.
On Friday night, March 11th, Statue of Liberty is going to be performing at Smokey Row Coffee House in Des Moines, IA. We are going to be there from 7:00pm-10:00pm, playing a vast array of originals and covers throughout the night. Although we’ve frequented the establishment quite a bit this will be our first time playing at Smokey Row and we look forward to bringing them our show. Stop out and enjoy a great caffeinated beverage and enjoy the music.
The following night, Saturday March 12th, Statue of Liberty will be at the Hull Avenue Tap in Des Moines, IA from 9:30pm-12:30am. Like Smokey Row, this will be the first time that we perform at the Hull Avenue Tap and I’m sure it will be a fun night of good music and great people.
Tomorrow night, Wednesday, March 2nd, we’ll be performing at the Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines, IA. Statue of liberty will start off the night, followed by two excellent acts, Longshadowman, followed by Damon Moon and the Whispering Drifters. This is going to be a really fun night of music, the Vaudeville Mews was the first venue we played in Des Moines and it will always be a special place for us. The doors open at 9:30pm and the show starts at 10:00pm, be sure to stop by and check out some great music.
